Solar umbrellas to open up outdoor charging opportunities on campus
An undergraduate student commission is drafting a proposal to install new solar umbrellas on campus. Students would be able to charge their phones, laptops and other devices if the umbrellas are installed, said undergraduate student government Facilities Commissioner Sandra Rhee. Read more...

UCPD releases annual Clery crime report for 2015
More robberies were reported on or around campus in 2015 than in 2014, according to an annual university police report released last week. The statistics come from Clery reports, which describe crime on and near the UCLA campus as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
