GSA expands graduate student employment opportunities with TA Marketplace

The Graduate Students Association at UCLA is expanding its presence as a resource center for employment opportunities with new initiatives this year. ASAP Clinic provides care for students with urgent medical needs

An Ashe Center urgent care clinic that opened in spring has received positive feedback from students. Since its opening in late March, the ASAP Clinic has had more than 4,000 visits from students, said June Hu, data and applications manager for the Ashe Center. Read more...

Bruin Bash 2016 will have increased security for crowds, wristbands

UCLA will enforce new security procedures at this year’s Bruin Bash to increase student safety. The undergraduate student government’s Campus Events Commission and Cultural Affairs Commission, which organized the event, hired a new security company and introduced more thorough wristband precautions, said Jordan Dang, the Undergraduate Students Association Council Campus Events commissioner.
