Several undergraduate student government officers and Election Board officials met Wednesday to discuss bloc voting and other concerns about the student government election process. The Undergraduate Students Association Council’s Constitutional Review Committee, which is in charge of proposing changes to USAC bylaws or the Election Code, convened to discuss possible solutions that aim to make the election process more fair. The Los Angeles City Planning Commission voted to keep a Westwood Boulevard bike lane in the Mobility Plan 2035 at a public hearing Feb. 11. At the meeting, the city’s planning department advised the commission against changing plans for the bicycle network because officials determined Westwood Boulevard is an important north-south corridor for cyclists.
