ASUCLA officials question need for new grocery store
Several Associated Students UCLA board members questioned the need for creating an on-campus student-run grocery store in a meeting Friday. The proposed grocery store, called the Student Food Co-op, would aim to provide fresh produce to students at a lower price than off-campus stores such as Trader Joe’s and Ralphs, said undergraduate student government President Heather Rosen. LAPD searches for man responsible for multiple robberies
Police are searching for a man who has robbed six people in Westwood Village since September. The man hides a cellphone in his jacket pocket and presses it against people’s backs, pretending it’s a handgun, said Alexander Schlegel, a West Los Angeles robbery detective. Read more...
