UCLA Dining replaces kosher, halal meal plan with daily options

UCLA Dining Services officials announced Wednesday they will offer the same halal and kosher options for lunch and dinner until the end of the quarter, and refund students who purchased the supplemental meal plan earlier this quarter. Read more...

UCPD to restrict and regulate on-campus hoverboard usage

University police will more strictly enforce hoverboard restrictions on campus walkways and in buildings after student pedestrians reported safety concerns last week. UCPD spokesperson Nancy Greenstein said UCPD currently classifies hoverboards as skateboards, which students aren’t allowed to ride on sidewalks, bike paths or roadways to minimize pedestrian collisions. Students work with NASA to launch ELFIN satellite into space
