UCLA graduate student stands behind research despite accusations

A graduate student accused of falsifying data said he stands behind his research in an email statement Friday. In a study published in December, Michael LaCour and his co-author, Columbia professor Donald Green, reported results that suggested voters’ support for same-sex marriage increases following a 20-minute conversation with a gay advocate for same-sex marriage. Luskin School of Public Affairs dean to leave UCLA

The dean of the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs was named chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, officials announced Friday. Frank Gilliam, named dean in 2008, has played roles in furthering UCLA’s civic engagement through research and partnerships within the community, according to a UCLA statement. Read more...

The Westwood Village Improvement Association, also known as the BID, is a nonprofit organization tasked with improving the state of Westwood Village.
