Saffron and Rose Ice Cream to reopen in Westwood after renovations
The Saffron and Rose Ice Cream on Westwood Boulevard will reopen this weekend after being temporarily closed for renovations. When customers enter the renovated family-run shop, they will experience the smell of fresh waffle cones and homemade Persian ice cream made from organic ingredients at a seating area with eight to nine extra spaces, said store manager Fred Papen. UCLA asks staff, students to nominate 2015 Librarian of the Year
UCLA is asking students, faculty and staff to nominate librarians for the 2015 Librarian of the Year Award. The award, given by the Librarians Association of UCLA, recognizes a university librarian who has furthered the school’s teaching and research mission by tailoring his or her work to the campus’ needs, according to the press release asking for the nominations. USAC funds 10 parking scholarships for commuter expenses
Jade Tamyo doesn’t think she will have to borrow money from her grandparents to pay for her $231 campus parking pass this quarter.
