LAPD statistics show citywide spike in violent crimes

Los Angeles Police Department crime statistics for 2014 showed a citywide spike in violent crimes after 12 years of dropping city crime rates. At a news conference in December, officers said robberies, homicides, rapes and other violent offenses in Los Angeles had increased by more than 12 percent in the past two years. Read more...

UCLA to offer Cuba study abroad summer program
