USAC opens thrift shop on Tuesday at Bruin Plaza
Racks of clothes will line Bruin Plaza on Tuesday to kick off UCLA’s first on-campus thrift shop. UCLA’s Typhoon Haiyan Relief Committee to donate around $6,000
Student groups have raised about $6,000 in donations for Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts, through a donation campaign and a benefit concert. UCLA students from more than a dozen student groups formed the Typhoon Haiyan Relief Committee in mid-November after Typhoon Haiyan slammed through the Phillippines and part of Vietnam, destroying towns and leaving many injured, dead or missing. UCLA alum found dead in jail cell, investigation continues
