Shifting gears: UCLA Transportation to modify shuttle routes, raise parking fees

Over the next year, UCLA Transportation plans to make a series of changes by increasing parking fees and modifying its campus shuttle service. UCLA Transportation will terminate the Northwest Shuttle Van service, which runs from Macgowan Turnaround to Hedrick Hall, this June, according to Sherry Lewis, the director of UCLA Fleet and Transit. Mock constitutional convention serves as final exam for political science class

Project 1 group withdraws from Community Programs Office

Program directors of Project 1 – a student group that offers mentoring and tutoring at Los Angeles high schools through the schools’ lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clubs – withdrew from the Community Programs Office last week, claiming the office is not a “safe space” for members of the LGBT community.
