Anderson School of Management sees an increase in applicants despite national slump
The number of applicants to the Masters of Business Administration program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management are up, despite a trend of fewer applications to MBA programs nationally. The Anderson school has recently seen a 22.3 percent increase in its application rates, which officials attribute to revamped recruiting practices, said Rob Weiler, associate dean of the full-time MBA program at Anderson. UCLA, USC compete in 5K to help fund Special Olympics
With the annual rivalry football game between UCLA and USC less than one week away, about 830 UCLA and USC students, alumni, family and friends raced around the UCLA campus on Sunday morning to participate in the 5-kilometer race, "We Run the City." Read more...

“We Run the City,” a 5K race between UCLA and USC students that was held for the first time this year, started out in Wilson Plaza Sunday morning. The rivalry run, which raises money for Special Olympics Southern California, will be held on both campuses alternatively until the 2015 Special Olympics.
