Students, online community surprised and disappointed as FBI shuts down major poker sites

But on April 15, the home page of the second-year math and economics student's favorite poker website, PokerStars.com, was replaced by this greeting: "This domain name has been seized by the FBI." In an FBI crackdown this month, the three largest online poker websites were shut down on charges of illegal gambling activities.
