Private security hired by sororities after reports of harassment on Hilgard

UCLA sororities hired private security in response to patterns of street harassment on Hilgard Avenue, the Panhellenic Council president said. UCPD received reports of multiple incidents on Hilgard this year, with complaints including trespassing and threats with intent to terrorize, according to published UCPD crime statistics. UCLA’s ‘B’ Quiz Bowl claims top-3 finish at national quiz bowl tournament

UCLA students advocate for better conditions in Westwood housing

Three UCLA students are pushing for housing reform in Westwood. Undergraduate Students Association Council General Representative Brett Berndt, USAC Student Housing Liaison Gabriella Llaneta and fourth-year political science student Henry Houser created UCLA’s chapter of the Student Homes Coalition, a statewide organization dedicated to advocating for better student housing.
