UCLA professor Cecilia Menjívar receives 2 awards for sociology work

Cecilia Menjívar, a UCLA sociology professor, received two prestigious awards from the American Sociological Association during its annual meeting in August. ASUCLA Board of Directors recap – Sept. 27

The board, composed of a student majority, has financial oversight over ASUCLA entities, including the Undergraduate Students Association Council, the Graduate Student Association and the ASUCLA Communications Board – which oversees UCLA Student Media.
