Anderson Forecast predicts possible recession due to Trump administration policies

UCLA Anderson Forecast predicted in March that, if enacted, the Trump administration’s economic policies will lead to recession. Clement Bohr, the economist who authored the recession watch report, cited concerns about President Donald Trump’s tariff policies, mass deportations and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency – an initiative to cut federal spending. Grammy-winning alumnus Sara Bareilles to be 2025 UCLA College commencement speaker

UCLA Bruin Marching Band builds community across majors, spreads school pride

Shortly before the UCLA football team enters the field, the UCLA Bruin Marching Band welcomes the crowd. Composed of more than 200 members, the Bruin Band performs at football games – both at home and away – with a smaller pep band at men’s and women’s basketball games and other Olympic sports games. ‘It’s unpredictable’: International Bruins react with concern to visa revocations

International students shared fears of academic repercussions and uncertainty following the revocation of student visas by the Trump administration.
