UCLA experts express opposition to Republicans’ plans to reduce education funding

Management school hosts immersion course in Cuba led by Cuban-born professor

Sixty-two years after Gonzalo Freixes fled Cuba with his family, UCLA finally gave him a chance to return. When arriving to host a global immersion course in the country, Freixes, an associate dean and adjunct professor of accounting in the UCLA Anderson School of Management, said he had a nostalgic return to his native country, which he realized had developed little since his departure. UCPD reports on-campus sexual assault near Sproul Plaza

UCPD informed students and faculty Friday morning of a Thursday on-campus sexual assault.  The case is not under investigation, and the victim, who is a student, is not seeking prosecution.  According to the crime alert, on Thursday at approximately 1:50 p.m., the suspect slapped the victim’s buttocks and screamed as they walked past one another.
