USAC to select new transfer student representative after position vacancy

Undergraduate Student Association Council Transfer Student Representative Teddy Moreno resigned Jan. 5, leaving an opening for the spot to be filled by Jan. 26. Student group Medical Aid Initiative promotes sustainability in health care

Students are working to reduce medical supply waste and improve sustainability in partnership with UCLA Health. Backpack fire in Boelter Hall causes evacuations, no injuries reported

A backpack caught on fire in a Boelter Hall classroom Wednesday, causing hundreds of students throughout the building to evacuate.  Around 12:30 p.m., a backpack began to catch fire in Boelter Hall room 5249, where a bioengineering class was taking place, said Jeeth Pawar, a third-year bioengineering student in the class. Dunkin’ grand opening stirs up excitement among Westwood community

An official ribbon cutting ceremony took place Thursday to present the new Dunkin’ in Westwood Village. Several dozen Bruins, UCLA employees and Westwood residents gathered on Gayley Avenue on Thursday morning to see the opening ceremony, modern interior design and new technology, as well as enjoy a free doughnut with any purchase.
