Police respond to report of dead body on Le Conte Avenue
A body was found on Le Conte Avenue on Tuesday. The 56-year-old man was found on a bench opposite Ralphs grocery store. According to a post from UCPD on social media platform X, there was no foul play suspected as the man was determined to have died from natural causes. “Earlier today, UCLA PD patrol officers and detectives responded to a report of a body on Le Conte Ave, across from Ralphs,” UCPD said in an Instagram post Tuesday. Bruins volunteer, support Los Angeles community amid wildfires
As wildfires swept across Los Angeles County, UCLA students volunteered to support recovery efforts. The fires – which have burned over 40,000 acres and displaced residents across the region – prompted urban and regional planning graduate student Alex Sun to step up as both a volunteer for distribution centers and a student of disaster management.
