Faculty, students sue UC over violating protester rights in spring encampment

Two students and two faculty members filed a lawsuit against the UC on Tuesday, alleging the University has unfairly repressed pro-Palestine protests.  The lawsuit – filed by attorneys from the Southern California chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union – alleges the University violated the rights of protesters who participated in the spring Palestine Solidarity Encampment at UCLA. Hamze Awawde discusses creating peace, processing trauma of Israel-Hamas war

About 40 people attended the talk hosted by both Standing Together LA – a coalition of Jews and Muslims advocating for peace – and David Myers, the Sady and Ludwig Kahn Chair in Jewish History and chair of the Dialogue Across Differences Committee. David Geffen School of Medicine hosts inaugural Medical Education Day
