The undergraduate student government election board has issued five sanctions since Thursday night. The board sanctioned independent candidates Sayron Stokes and Divya Sharma on Thursday night, and sanctioned independent candidate Jack Price and Bruins United candidate Neha Quraishi Friday afternoon. The undergraduate student government judicial board ruled in favor of the election board after receiving a petition asking it to disqualify the Bruins United slate. Students can now enjoy a new amphitheater garden in the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, following a launch event Thursday afternoon. The UCLA Healthy Campus Initiative held an opening event called Dream Revolution to introduce the renovated amphitheater, which has several garden beds on its highest level. Read more...
