Students express frustration with price of goods at UCLA Store

Students have complained about prices at the UCLA Store market being more expensive than stores such as Target and Ralph’s. The UCLA Store market sells an array of food, drinks, toiletries and cleaning supplies, carrying many of the same products as other grocery stores in Westwood. Read more...

Students find ice cream, space to unwind from midterms at UCLA First Thursdays

Bruins gathered on Wilson Plaza on Thursday for music, soft serve ice cream and lawn games during the November edition of First Thursdays. The event series, which is hosted by UCLA, launched in March 2022 with the goal of bringing the community together. Read more...

District 5 interim housing to provide beds for people experiencing homelessness

The Los Angeles city council unanimously approved a project Oct. 20 to build an interim housing facility for people experiencing homelessness in Westwood. The project will be located at the site of a city-owned parking lot on the corner of Pico Boulevard and Midvale Avenue. Read more...

Westwood Village Farmers’ Market offers a variety of small businesses to support
