Baseball to capitalize on rejuvenated offense for San Diego State match

UCLA baseball has had to get accustomed to playing close games. Of the team’s first 12 games, eight were decided by one run. Coach John Savage said the outcome of each bout could have stemmed from a single pitch. Read more...

Men’s water polo alumni face off in National League championship game

For the second year in a row, UCLA men’s water polo alumni dominated the stat lines in the USA Water Polo National League championship game. 2016 scoring leader Patrick Fellner and Paul Reynolds, the fourth-most scoring Bruin in program history, suited up for the Olympic Club against the reigning champion, the New York Athletic Club. Women’s tennis defeats Washington and Washington State over weekend

Two conference matches, two more wins for No. 20 UCLA women’s tennis (10-5, 4-1 Pac-12). The Bruins nearly swept both the Washington Huskies (14-5, 3-2) and the Washington State Cougars (9-10, 0-5) – 4-1 and 6-1 respectively – to clinch their third and fourth straight victories of the season, dropping just two points in two games. Men’s tennis wins Pac-12 openers in close matchups

The final score in NCAA tennis can be very misleading. No. 10 UCLA men’s tennis (13-4, 2-0 Pac-12) defeated Washington and No. 23 Oregon 4-0 and 4-3, respectively, on back-to-back days to open their Pac-12 conference schedule. Read more...
