UCLA groups introduce six new scholarships for transfer students

UCLA Parking Services releases Parkmobile app for convenient payment
Students can now pay for parking in any campus lot through a smartphone app called Parkmobile. UCLA Parking Services made the Parkmobile app available for all campus parking facilities in March. Read more...

Professor Mark Sawyer remembered for mentorship, self-expression
Mark Sawyer spoke Spanish with a Cuban accent, despite growing up in the United States. While leading study abroad programs in San Juan, Puerto Rico, locals would call him “El Cubano.” Sawyer, a political science and African American studies professor known for his work on race relations in Cuba, died March 26 in Los Angeles. Graduate students express discontent over projected housing plan
Many graduate students are upset with the university for planning new housing projects that do not benefit graduate students. Graduate students organized a meeting with Chancellor Gene Block and created an email campaign to press officials to include them in their housing plans. Read more...
