UCLA student law group seeks improved campus climate

UCLA professors elected to National Academy of Engineering

Two UCLA professors were recently elected to lend their engineering expertise to government officials on issues of science and technology. Chandrashekhar Joshi, an electrical engineering professor and Alan Willson, a professor emeritus in electrical engineering, were among the 67 new members elected to the National Academy of Engineering this year. Student input to be consulted in new library mug design

Students now have the opportunity to vote on a new design for a new UCLA library mug, which student leaders hope will reduce campus waste. UC Berkeley passes bill after UCLA, USC receive offensive fliers

The undergraduate student government at University of California, Berkeley, passed a bill Wednesday in support of Asian Pacific Islander communities at UCLA and USC, after Asian American departments at both campuses received racist and sexist fliers earlier this month, according to the Daily Californian.
