An alumna claims UCLA Residential Life treated her unfairly after she reported an alleged incident of sexual harassment in 2016 while still a student. Yu Akao, a former student, alleged in an email that her former suite mate’s boyfriend sexually harassed her as she attempted to exit the shower in her Delta Terrace residence during fall quarter 2016. The Westwood Village Improvement Association is a nonprofit organization tasked with improving the state of Westwood Village. Property and business owners created the association in 2011 to provide the Village with functions the city of Los Angeles could not provide. Read more...

University of California President Janet Napolitano announced Wednesday she will be stepping down from her position effective Aug. 1, 2020. Napolitano, who became the first ever female UC president in September 2013, announced her resignation at the September meeting of the UC Board of Regents at UCLA. Read more...
