UCLA Health provides at-home colon cancer screening kits to patients

UCLA Health is collaborating with marketing experts to incentivize patients to screen themselves at home for cancer. Starting in May, UCLA Health, with the help of researchers at the Anderson School of Management, provided custom letters with take-home colorectal cancer screening kits to encourage patients to use them. UC Board of Regents postpones vote on tuition increase to May

The University of California Board of Regents deferred voting on a tuition increase until its May meeting. The Board of Regents was originally scheduled to vote on a 2.5 percent tuition hike at its Wednesday meeting, but UC President Janet Napolitano said she thinks the University should advocate for increased funding from the state legislature.
