Westwood Forward talks proposed new neighborhood council at town hall

Student leaders said at a town hall meeting Thursday they want to create a more representative and democratic council to represent Westwood. Westwood Forward, a student-run coalition that is also comprised of local homeowners and business owners, held a town hall meeting in Ackerman Union to address more than 45 members of the public about plans to subdivide the Westwood Neighborhood Council. Regents recap – Nov. 15

The governing board of the University of California met for the second day of its November meeting at UC San Francisco on Wednesday. Assistant professor awarded for research on neuromuscular disorders

A UCLA assistant clinical professor aims to improve the quality of life for children with neuromuscular disorders. Rachel Thompson, an associate director of the UCLA/Orthopedic Institute for Children Center for Cerebral Palsy and assistant clinical professor in orthopedics, received the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Research’s Mac Keith Press Promising Career Award in October.
